BECOMING AN IPERC HOST FAMILY
Hosting an international student is one of the most rewarding experiences that you and your family can have. Learning about the language and customs of another culture is a priceless gift that you receive, while at the same time giving back to your exchange student. Both your family and your student will gain a deeper understanding of how culture varies across the world, it is the lifelong friendship between your family and student that makes the cultural exchange program valuable! At IPERC, we seek qualified families to provide a safe and nurturing home environment for international high school students attending schools in North America.

Each IPERC host family will be assigned a local coordinator who will conduct host family orientations and be available to aid families through every step. Participating families will also be offered a monthly compensation (the exact amount varies by location) to offset the student’s cost of living as well as any additional family activities in which the student participates.
